Norm “Mick” Meader (6/17/51 – 2/10/17) shares his stories as part of the Arizona LGBTQ Storytelling Project. He discusses his life with his late partner Richard and their love for each other. He talks about the moment he overcame his shyness to become more involved with the LGBTQ community. He discusses his involvement as secretary of PFLAG helping parents with transgender children and his involvement with the Annual Pride Service. He talks about his religion the Zen Desert Sangha and his process of accepting death.
